Project Goal
The purpose of this project was to create a series of packaging for a non-alcoholic mocktail brand as well as creating advertising for the brand. The goal was to create an eye-catching package design that represented a flavourful and fun brand, that would allow people who choose not to drink the ability to stay connected in social settings without having to compromise their health and values.
Design Solution
The name Nulla was selected because it means zero in latin which conveys that the brand is non-alcoholic. Three signature mocktail packages were created for the brand: paloma, martini and mojito. A pattern was created for each drink that included elements and ingredients of the drink as well as colours that go with each flavour. These bright colour palettes and patterns were selected to stand out against other brands on the shelf and to attract the eye of customers as well as represent the drink flavours.
Advertisements
Three advertisements were created to promote the package design and brand which could be used for social media or traditional advertising like bus stops and posters. These were designed to entice people to purchase the drinks and discover more about the brand. All three advertisements convey the benefits of drinking non-alcoholic beverages. They show that you can still feel included in social settings, enjoy the taste and flavour of your favourite drinks and even stay healthier, all while drinking non-alcoholic beverages.
